Within the framework of the meeting, the two parties discussed about issues relating to the implementation of the Action Plan on science cooperation and technology renovation for the 2012 - 2013 period and directions by 2015 which was approved in the 7th session of the Vietnam – Belarus Inter-governmental Committee for S&T Cooperation in Hanoi on November 29, 2012.
Vice Chairman Demidov L.V affirmed that Belarus has been ready to continue its cooperation with Vietnam as well as hoped to create favorable conditions for improving Vietnam’s S&T level. He said that for the coming time the two countries would focus on implementing the contents agreed previously as well as direction for research cooperation in fields of petroleum, health and agricultural machines and mutual experience learning and exchanging …
Agreeing with opinions of Vice Chairman Demidov L.V, Minister Nguyễn Quân emphasized besides the two fields of health and agricultural machines, the two parties would hope to cooperate in energy field as equipment for using solar energy, wind energy and nuclear energy.
The Minister believed that after the Vice Chairman’s visit, the two parties would have specific cooperation program, especially they can be agreed and signed in the official visit to the Republic of Belarus of Vietnam’s Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng in May 2013.
